8th FBNJ Workshop Information 2026
Thank you for your continued understanding and support of FBN Japan’s activities.
Our upcoming meeting was originally planned as an event exclusively for NxG (Next Generation) members. However, we have decided to open this session to all members and hold it as a regular workshop.
For this occasion, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Koji Asahi, President and Representative Director of ASAHI FORGE Co., Ltd., who will share his insights and experiences with us.
ASAHI FORGE is a forging manufacturer founded in Nagoya in 1938 by its first-generation founder, Mr. Shigeji Asahi. Since its establishment, the company has continued to refine its hot forging technologies, building a strong reputation for technical expertise and product quality.
Today, the company is led by its third-generation president, Mr. Koji Asahi. With its headquarters in Gifu Prefecture, ASAHI FORGE operates manufacturing facilities in Aichi and Okayama in Japan, as well as in the United States and Indonesia. Its main products include forged components for the automotive industry, such as transmission gears and bearings. In particular, the company holds the leading market share in Japan for wheel hub bearings, making it an important supplier supporting the automotive industry.
ASAHI FORGE also kindly welcomed participants from around the world for a Learning Journey during the FBN Global Summit held in Tokyo in 2024.
This workshop will provide a valuable opportunity to hear directly from Mr. Asahi about how ASAHI FORGE has developed its business over many decades, its approach to management as a family business, and the challenges and opportunities involved in business succession and passing the baton to the next generation.
We warmly encourage all members to join us for this special opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen our connections within the FBN community.
